I found some clubs on clearance for 119.99 original 345.99. They’re ladies right hand, 18 piece set, Produced by Cougar, the X-Cat series. Is this a good deal?? Are they crappy clubs? Or are they sufficient for a beginner? Or should i spend a little more to get better quality?? And if so, what would you recomend?

Seriously, I think paying extra money out of your pocket for drivers with weights is just plain stupid. It’s like you’re paying to let the clubs do all the work for you. Golf wasn’t made that way. The player is supposed to chose the destination for the ball, not the weights on a driver.

I don’t know which credit card company it was, but I am pretty sure I saw it in a magazine. Does anyone know which credit card company it was; if they still have such and offer; or are there any other similar offers out there?
