Does anyone know what paint is used to write the letters on the heads of golf clubs, the paint is white and a kind of rubbery putty like material. I can’t find it on the internet because i don’t know the proper name. I want it to restore the lettering on my own clubs.

Does anyone know the cost of checking your golf clubs on an international flight? And what is the weight limit and cost of being overweight with your baggage?

I have been playing golf on and off for about a year now. I’ve enjoyed it and want to get more serious about it. Every time I go golfing I have to borrow someone elses clubs and this is starting to bother me. What is a good set of clubs that is somewhat affordable (I don’t want anything ridiculous).

Me and my fiance have been going to the driving range lately and we’ve really enjoyed learning how to swing. We’re using a set of golf clubs a friend has loaned to us but we can’t keep them so we’re trying to determine what clubs to buy. Of course we’re on a budget we really don’t want to spend a whole lot on a set of clubs. I’ve been looking on ebay and I have found some around 100-200 dollars. What are some good name brands and models I should be looking for in my budget? Also is there a good suggestion for an easy driver to start out with?
fairyfairy asked: I am going to play golf for my school this fall. I have no idea how to play. But I’m going to learn. But before all that, I need equiptment. I found some clubs on clearance for 119.99 original 345.99. They’re ladies right hand, 18 piece set, Produced by Cougar, the X-Cat series. Is this a good deal?? Are they crappy clubs? Or are they sufficient for a beginner? Or should i spend a little more to get better quality?? And if so, what would you recomend?
Thank You for your time, and your help! It’s greatly appreciated!

I’m travelling to the area soon and planning to golf. Most of the times, public courses don’t have quality clubs to rent from. I’m wondering if there are any independent places that rents them (like in Vegas).

How ’bout them Cowboys? asked:
Seriously, I think paying extra money out of your pocket for drivers with weights is just plain stupid. It’s like you’re paying to let the clubs do all the work for you. Golf wasn’t made that way. The player is supposed to chose the destination for the ball, not the weights on a driver.

About a year ago I saw a credit card offer that gave away a free set of Callaway golf clubs if you transferd a balance of $5000 or more from another credit card. I don’t know which credit card company it was, but I am pretty sure I saw it in a magazine. Does anyone know which credit card company it was; if they still have such and offer; or are there any other similar offers out there?
